Product Identification

Caratfill PDLLA Powder

Poly-D,L-Lactic Acid Biostimulator

Korean GMP Sterile Facility Powder / Injectable GRAS-Certified U.S. Raw Materials
Total Content / Package
200 mg × 1 Vial — PDLLA 160 mg + CMC 40 mg
Core Ingredients & Technical Details
Primary Active Ingredient
Poly-D,L-Lactic Acid (PDLLA)
Key Supportive Ingredient
CMC (Carboxymethyl Cellulose)

Mechanism of Action

PDLLA acts as an internal biostimulator, triggering fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin to rebuild the skin's foundational structure. CMC functions externally to enhance viscosity, ensure stable and uniform delivery of particles, and significantly reduce migration risk.

Key Technical Features
  • 1 BPPT Technology (Biostimulator Particle Processing Technology) — produces uniform microspheres precisely controlled to 20–40 µm, minimizing risks of clumping, blockage, nodules, and granulomas.
  • 2 D- & L-Isomer Blend — lower crystallinity with controlled biodegradation for smoother, more predictable results.
  • 3 GRAS-Certified U.S. Raw Materials — manufactured to the highest safety standards in a Korean GMP sterile facility.

Efficacy & Expected Benefits
Main Effects
  • Collagen regeneration from within for deep skin enhancement
  • Long-lasting volume restoration and structural support
  • Improved skin elasticity and overall texture
  • Facial contour enhancement and definition
Recommended Treatment Areas
Forehead Temples Cheeks Mid-Face Apple Zone Chin Jawline Nasolabial Folds Marionette Lines Nasal Bridge
Usage Protocol & Application Guide
Application Method
Injection — depth varies by purpose, from the superficial dermis to the periosteum layer.
Treatment Cycle & Frequency
Maximum 3 vials per session · Minimum retouch interval: 8 weeks · Repeated treatments suggested after full metabolism at 14–16 months
Onset & Duration of Effect
Noticeable results within 3–4 weeks · Effects persist for 18–24 months · Collagen remains even after full PDLLA degradation

Reconstitution Instructions
  • 1 Mix with sterile distilled water and 1–2% lidocaine. Do not use saline — CMC does not dissolve properly in saline.
  • 2 Mix using one of the following methods: electric shaker for 15–20 min, manual shaking for 20–30 min, or a 3-way connector.
  • 3 Confirm a fully dissolved gel with no visible particles before use.
  • 4 Remove only the external white cap. Do not open the vial body directly to preserve sterility.
Treatment Strategies
Strategy Sterile Water Lidocaine Total Volume Injection Depth
Contouring 4 ml 1–2 ml 5–6 ml Periosteum layer
Volume / Lifting 7–9 ml 1–2 ml 8–11 ml Mid to deep dermis
Skin Texture 12–13 ml 1–2 ml 13–15 ml Superficial dermis

Dilution volume determines both concentration and injection depth. Select the strategy based on the intended treatment outcome and anatomical target area.

Storage & Handling
Shelf Life After Mixing
Must be used within 2 hours after reconstitution. Single-use only.
Handling Tips
  • Never open the vial body — preserving sterility requires only the external white cap to be removed.
  • Avoid creating air bubbles during the shaking or mixing process.
Precautions & Safety Notes
Contraindications Do not use in patients with a history of keloids, active skin infections, or skin inflammation.
Safety Warnings Do not inject in the periorbital (eye) area. Saline is strictly prohibited for reconstitution. Do not combine with other regenerative substances. Incomplete mixing may cause particle clumping or cannula blockage. Follow dosage recommendations strictly — overfilling risks puffiness and undesirable outcomes.
Common Temporary Side Effects
  • Early volume loss (Days 3–5): Normal and expected for PDLLA — volume is restored after 3–4 weeks as collagen production begins.
  • Adverse event risk: <0.1% — attributed to refined particle uniformity and CMC stabilization.
Post-Treatment Care
  • Product cannot be dissolved with saline if removal is required. Use HIFU, ultrasound, or laser modalities instead.
