MUCHCAINE PLUS CREAM
Topical Anesthetic Cream
Lidocaine acts as a local anesthetic by temporarily blocking the pathway of pain signals along the nerves. It inhibits the influx of sodium ions through nerve cell membranes, preventing the generation and conduction of electrical impulses and resulting in a temporary numbing effect on the applied area.
Formulated for rapid skin penetration to provide effective superficial anesthesia prior to dermatological or aesthetic procedures.
- Temporary local anesthesia.
- Skin numbing.
- Pain relief.
Intact skin areas requiring pain management prior to procedures such as dermal filler injections, mesotherapy, MTS (Microneedling Therapy System), laser treatments, tattooing, waxing, and minor surgical procedures.
- Onset: Typically takes effect within 15 to 30 minutes after application under occlusion.
- Duration: The numbing effect generally lasts for 1 to 2 hours after the cream is removed, depending on the individual's skin type and application duration.
Crucial step: Completely wipe off and cleanse all residual cream from the skin before initiating any procedure that breaks the skin barrier.
Keep out of reach of children. Protect from direct sunlight and do not freeze. Keep the cap tightly closed when not in use to prevent the cream from oxidizing or drying out.
Mild erythema (redness), localized swelling, itching, or blanching (whitening) of the skin at the application site.
- Ensure the skin is completely clear of the cream before beginning any invasive procedure.
- Monitor for any signs of allergic reaction post-procedure.
