This week's question comes from a community thread written by someone placing a first order with us. They had chosen pay later at checkout, then received an email about payment, and asked the thread whether that email looked right. It is a reasonable thing to check before sending money, and there is a clear answer. A genuine payment email from us passes three checks, and all three can be done in a minute.
The question
Paraphrased from the thread: This is my first order. I chose pay later. Does this payment email look correct?
What pay later means
Orders are paid through Wise or by international bank transfer. On our Wise payment page you can pay by ACH bank transfer, wire transfer, or debit or credit card. Bank transfer is the cheapest option; card funding is possible, but Wise charges a noticeably higher fee for it. Our website does not have its own card form. Choosing pay later places the order without payment. We then send a payment link by email, and the order is settled through that link.
For an order placed during our business hours, Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00 Korea time, the payment link is sent within 30 minutes. For an order placed outside those hours, including at a weekend, it is sent within 48 hours at the latest. So a short wait between checkout and the payment email is normal, particularly across a weekend or a time-zone gap.
Registered members can follow the order in My Page, where the payment status changes from Unpaid to Paid once the transfer is confirmed.
The three checks
Our payment guide sets out how a genuine payment request looks. All three of these have to be true.
1. Who sent it. Payment emails come from an address ending in @dpmlogis.com. Check the full address, not the display name. A display name can be copied by anyone. The domain cannot. It is expected that the address does not end in kstations.com.
2. The order and the amount. The order number and the total in the payment email must match the order confirmation you received from kstations.com when you checked out. If the amount is different, do not pay.
3. Who receives the money. The recipient on the Wise screen or in the bank transfer details must be our registered company, Kstation Inc. A personal name, a different company or an unexpected country means the request did not come from us.
What we will never ask for
A payment email from us will never ask for your card number, CVC, PIN or any password. It will never ask you to pay a personal account, and it will never tell you that our bank details have changed partway through an order. We do not take payment in gift cards, cryptocurrency or cash transfer services. A message that does any of these did not come from us, however urgent it sounds.
How long you have
Payment is due within seven days of receiving the link. Your stock is held for those seven days. If the window passes, the order is cancelled automatically and the stock is released. Nothing is charged, no fee applies, and you can order again at any time. A message threatening a penalty for paying late is not ours.
If something does not match
Do not pay and do not reply to the message. Forward it to info@dpmlogis.com and we will check it. If you have already paid something that turns out not to match, tell us straight away and contact your bank or Wise too, because a transfer can sometimes be recalled if it is reported quickly.
The same thread also raised customs, which this answer does not cover. For how shipping notifications work once an order has left Korea, see last week's question of the week, shipped, but no tracking number yet. Our FAQs cover payment, shipping and returns in one place.
Frequently asked
What email address do KSTATION payment requests come from?
An address ending in @dpmlogis.com. Check the full address rather than the display name. The order number and total must match your checkout confirmation, and the recipient must be Kstation Inc.
When will I get the payment link after choosing pay later?
Within 30 minutes if you order during business hours, Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00 Korea time. If you order outside those hours, within 48 hours at the latest.
How long do I have to pay?
Seven days from receiving the link. Stock is held during that time. If the window passes, the order is cancelled with no charge and no penalty, and you can reorder.
Does KSTATION take card payments?
Yes, through Wise. On our Wise payment page you can fund the payment with a debit or credit card, but Wise charges a noticeably higher fee for card funding than for bank transfer, so most customers pay by ACH or wire transfer. Card details are entered inside Wise, so we never see them and never ask for them.
This answer describes our payment process as set out on our payment guide and FAQs on 1 October 2026. If the process changes, those pages are updated first and are the reference.
