Two rows match: the shelf life (three years is 36 months) and the storage range. Everything else differs, and the first row is the one the rest follows from.
One anaesthetic, or two mixed into one
Pure Numb is a single-agent cream. Its page declares lidocaine and nothing else as the active, at 10.56%, which it restates as 105.6 mg per gram.
Wellscaine Plus is a combination. Its page declares lidocaine and prilocaine at 25 mg per gram each, and names the formula a eutectic mixture. A eutectic mixture is a blend of two substances that melts at a lower temperature than either one does on its own. Lidocaine and prilocaine in their base forms are both solids at room temperature, and mixed in equal parts they form an oil. That oil is what the cream carries. The page's own label for this is EMLA type, the name the same lidocaine and prilocaine combination is widely known by.
So the two products are not stronger and weaker versions of the same thing. They are different formulations, and the percentages cannot be lined up against each other. Adding 2.5% and 2.5% to get 5% and setting it against 10.56% compares two different preparations as if they were one. The figures describe what is in each cream. They say nothing about how either performs, which depends on the product information and the professional using it.
What each page lists beyond the active
Pure Numb's page gives a full ingredient list: the active, a preservative (methylparaben, declared at 1 mg), and seven base ingredients, from isopropyl myristate to propylene glycol. It also states that the formula is ethanol-free. The lidocaine is marked KP, meaning the ingredient is declared to the Korean Pharmacopoeia standard.
Wellscaine Plus's page names the two actives and describes the cream as white to yellowish, but it does not list the base ingredients or a preservative. For a buyer who needs to check the full composition, Pure Numb's page answers the question directly. For Wellscaine Plus, the carton or the package insert is the place to look.
Pack size and format
Both come in large packs: 500 g for Pure Numb and a 450 g jar for Wellscaine Plus. The 50 g difference is small, but worth noting when two quotes are compared by jar rather than by gram.
Both pages state room-temperature storage between 1 and 30°C. Wellscaine Plus adds that the jar should be kept tightly closed, out of direct sunlight, and not frozen. Pure Numb asks for an airtight container. Neither page calls for refrigeration.
Checking which one has arrived
Because the two formulas differ in their actives, the quickest check on a delivered jar is the composition line on the label. A jar declaring lidocaine alone at 10.56% is the Pure Numb formula.
